Eartha Design - re-launch!

First blog post, and it's all about ME! Sorry, but it is. I'm very excited to be launching Eartha Design again, after a period of long hibernation (too long to mention!).

So why now? Glad you asked! The thing is, Eartha never really went away. In between working full time,....and a sprinkling of healing work here and there...I've kept my hand in, so to speak, with all things webby. I truly love the Internet, and all it's capable of - and almost 20 years since my first venture into the wonderful world of web with ClearSite and then Centrical Solutions, it still astounds me the amount of potential it can offer to small businesses.

What's more remarkable, is much of what I was championing all those years ago, still 100% stands true: clean, clear, usable websites, with great content - sites that have a purpose, a personality and sell! I've seen a rise in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) specialists and experts, which is great - and they are very clever at what they do - however, I'm still of the opinion that a professional brand identity, attractive design and engaging copy, plus a common sense approach to promotion, are still key to success. And, I find, a lot cheaper than the SEO, pay per click, analytical 'experts'! :-)

I'm still aiming Eartha's services at small independents and sole traders - and in the main, to healers, therapists and those who are devoted to helping and increasing the wellbeing of others. This is simply combining my passions: creativitiy, the web and spiritual evolution - and basically, being genuinely caring about people. There really has never been a better time for wellbeing practitioners to get 'out there' and help others - the time is time now. :-)

From January 2018, I aim to have more time to devote to Eartha, having taking a gigantic leap of faith and stepped out of my full time job. As I write, there is nothing to replace it, and although I'm 'looking' at other 'opportunities' and scanning Indeed, Glassdoor, etc, etc, my heart is still definately right here, with Earth Design, and all she has to offer!

For me, it doesn't come naturally to jump into the spotlight and say how good I am at x, y, z - but I have to walk my walk. I've learned some stuff along the way, over 20 years in business and over 40 years interest in health, wellbeing and spirtuality - and I'd love to share it with you - so, are you ready to step up too?
